Goals

Does anyone else have an issue with "New Years Resolutions"?? I swear to god that most people don't intend to keep them. They are made just for the hell of it. I have never once in my life made a New Years Resolution I intended to keep. They are like "dreams for the new year of what MIGHT be nice."


It's that time, in my business, for me to decide on my goals for this year. It's what keeps me motivated(supposedly) to get up and go to work every day. It's like your boss giving you work only, I AM the boss.


I have to decide what I want this year. Break it down into easy to swallow pieces and decide when to evaluate what I've done to see if I'm on the right path.


This will be the first year I have done this ever. I've been in business 4 years. I'm hoping this will be a turning point. My business is constantly up and down and I am sick of having bad months where this family is choking because I don't have enough consultants in my first level or because my team didn't do enough in sales.


I want to make enough to send Frog to Renbrook next year at $2000 A MONTH. Homeschooling SUCKS and I will NOT send him back to the wretched school up the street. So, I guess I gotta figure out just how much money that means I need to make a month.

Drama, Drama and more Drama

Oh good lord. I am so sick of Message Board drama. This is why I swore off message boards for so long. BLAH!

On the other hand I got enough drama going on at home. Finance issues, recruiting issues, work ethic issues with my team. It's whooping me. I just want to go to bed and stay there for like a week. Of course more trouble would be waiting for me when I woke up/got out of bed.

I have a dr's appointment on Tuesday. I don't even want to get into a discussion with him about my meds again. And if he gives me shit about how much weight I lost or didn't lose, I may have to hurt him. Badly. Grrrr.

Well, I had a great time last night when everyone was over here. Including my uncle. Who I generally can't stand. We had some good(although a bit "thick") pizza, vegetables and dip, goodies. It was a good spread. The kids played well together like usual(my sister's kids get along with mine so well) and Frog only got slighty obnoxious. LOL!

I was worried that the kids wouldn't have enough to open. Ha, I worry too much because that was certainly NOT the case. They surely had enough.We all had a great christmas. We really did. It was happy despite any sad memories or missing any relatives.

They go from start to almost finished. I can't put the furniture and stuff where I want because we put the tree in the middle of the room. So once the tree is gone, I get to put everything "together". :D

Inlaw's suck

OK, so I think I posted on BIO about how I had to take my MIL to court because FIL was trying to take her alimony away. Well, he didn't succeed. I knew he wouldn't.

So, he hasn't sent her one of her checks and the one he was supposed to send at the beginning of the month was post marked for the day we went to court(huge shock).

She was supposed to leave this weekend to "go home" to visit her friends so he could come to visit and insisted that she was not leaving until she got her check.

He says it was mailed. He won't write her another one etc etc. Which leads me to believe that he and his girlfriend spent the money.

Anywho, they didn't come this weekend and Frog called and left a message on his machine telling him how much he was going to miss him and I guess he felt guilty because he is now coming on Thursday. I don't know how I am going to be able to keep my mouth shut because according to this man, I don't work. All I do is sit on my ass all day in front of the computer. GRRRRRRRR! Oh really asshole, how do the bills get paid then??

Man, I can't stand my inlaws sometimes.

New Blog for me

This is a new blog for me. I don't have one on here yet. My other blog is on Live Journal and is pretty much friends only. I am going to try to leave this one up and public. We'll see what happens. I'm kind of a blog snob. LOL! And I'm very particular about what I put in a public blog. I'll try to be good about posting in it. :D
